Camilla Carper and Janelle Abbott were friends first. Now in San Francisco and Seattle, they document their friendship with FEMAIL, a collaboration through USPS. They mail the garments back and forth, adding and subtracting, arguing and playing, remembering and trying to forget. The results are equal parts aesthetics, construction, and emotion. And the most fascinating (integral) element, is the cost formula, to which the consumer is transparently privy. See for yourself, the true cost of what it takes to produce a garment with four hands.
